Dr. Jamie M. Ressler is an Associate Professor of Marketing in the College of Business. She teaches classes in both the undergraduate and graduate MBA program. Jamie has worked in academia since 2001, first in the fundraising office at Palm Beach Atlantic University, and then as a professor. Prior to academia, she worked in both nonprofit (an art school and a civic association) as well as corporate marketing and public relations.
In 2012, a committee of students and faculty at Anderson University selected her as the recipient of The Michael Boles Excellence in Teaching Award. She has served as a Students in Free Enterprise Advisor (SIFE), seeing the students to Regional (2010, 2008, 2006, 2005) and National (2008, 2005) Championships. In 2007, she was selected as a recipient of the Kotler Travel Grant to attend the AMA Nonprofit Marketing Conference.
Dr. Ressler received her undergraduate degree in public relations from Florida State University, her MBA with a marketing concentration from Palm Beach Atlantic University, and a Doctor of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. Her dissertation looked at the impact of university reputation on a student's intention to enroll. She enjoys research in the areas of branding, materialism and nonprofit management. She also consults in the areas of strategic planning and marketing.
Dr. Ressler and her husband Timothy live in Anderson, SC, with their son Griffin.
