Internships

The College of Business at Anderson University requires an internship of all traditional students participating in the BS program.

Fall 2011 Fall Interns

According to Steve Moss, Director of Human Resources at Synnex Corporation:

Internship summary:

The largest amount of internships were in the service sector with close to 40%, finance with almost 20% and manufacturing at 10%.  74% of our interns were in a paid internship which signals a return of the economy in our area.  Employers are looking to our internships as “pre-hire”.  It is my opinion, that our area will continue to see increase economically especially in the manufacturing sector.

10% of our interns were international students who all went abroad to do their internships.  They went back or to Great Britain, Germany, China and Canada. 

A big success this year has been the "internship fair" held on 4 different days throughout the year (October through Febuary).  Local companies wanting to hire our interns come to interview 4 to 8 students.  This activity is provided at no charge to the companies.  If you are interested please contact:
