The administration and faculty of the College of Education represent a wealth of knowledge and expertise from which teacher candidates can benefit as they analyze current best practices based on the belief that all students can learn. In addition, the College of Education offers graduate programs to practicing teachers that enhance their ability to engage classroom learners in problem solving activities by promoting complex thinking skills that are relevant to real life.

The mission of the College of Education is to prepare mean and women to become Christ-centered “educators who are builders of knowledge, values, and community” by nurturing the development of character, servant leadership, and cultural engagement.
