INSTRUCTOR OF COMMUNICATION
Anderson University and the College of Arts and Sciences invite applications for a full-time, nine-month position as Instructor of Communication. Position starts in August 2013 or January 2014 and is eligible for annual reappointment. Anderson University is a comprehensive, liberal arts institution affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention. The Communication department offers a B.A. in Communication with three concentrations in Public Relations/Advertising, Mass Media, and Professional Writing.
Candidates should hold at least a M.A. in Communication with college teaching or media production experience. Courses to be taught include, but are not limited to, video and multimedia production. The ideal candidate will be able to develop a plan to implement new technology in our production classes. The successful candidate will also advise students, actively recruit prospective students, and participate in other departmental and college duties as needed.
