ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF EDUCATION
Anderson University and its College of Education invite applications for a full-time position as Assistant/Associate Professor of Education. Position to begin August 2013 with eligibility for annual reappointment with the possibility of later tenure-track appointment. Successful candidate must be a dynamic, creative individual committed to teaching excellence in the context of best practices and serving to enrich an innovative and growing program with a strong reputation across the region. Responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate teaching, which may include online, hybrid courses, and seated formats; collaboration with current faculty; student advising; participation in scholarly activities, committees, and community service; coordinating the ELCC national recognition report and data collection.Applicants should have an earned Ph.D. or Ed. D. and three years of public school teaching experience. NCATE/ELCC experience preferred and familiarity with NCATE transition to CAEP. Familiarity with the South Carolina teacher assessment instrument, ADEPT/SAFE-T, preferred.
