Services - Computers
The Thrift Library contains 12 public access computers for use in online research.
Time limit - One half hour when others are waiting.
NOTE: These computers do not have Microsoft Office. Students should use the Bunton Computer Lab located in the basement for typing papers and doing power points.
Other Computers
- The Curriculum Lab, reserved for the use of Education Majors, has four computer stations with both b&w and color printing.
- The Bunton Computer Lab, located in the basement of the building and operated by the IT Department, contains 33 computers, a high speed printer, and a scanner.
- Other computer labs on campus include Watkins, Vandiveer, Johnston (Interior Design), and Rainey. These are operated by the IT Department.

Wireless
The entire Thrift facility is wireless.
Ask at the Front Desk for log in information.
Printing
Students may charge printing to their accounts.

Non-students may pick up their printing at the Front Desk.
10 cents per page for non-students.

Scanners
The library's color computer can be used by students as a free scanner.
You must have a USB Drive / Thumb Drive / Memory Stick.
Scans are stored as with PDFs or TIFFs.

Off Campus Access
Some of the library's resources, mostly its databases, are not available from off campus unless the user accesses them through the proxy server.
You will be prompted to log in using your AU email name and address.
