ABC-CLIO- A high quality collection of scholary sources on all topics.  24 volumes are included.

ASCD Education eBook Collection- 91 ebooks on professional development, supervision and instruction, searchable through a single platform.

Credo Reference- 636 eReference Books (encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlases, handbooks, etc.) on all topics.  You may search titles individually, all at once, by major subject categores, or in any combination.  Tens of thousands of graphic images.  Provides citation examples for APA, MLA, and Chicago style at the bottom of every record.

eBooks on EBSCOhost - 41,000 eBooks on all topics.  Searching for eBooks within eBooks on EBSCOhost instead of the Library Catalog has the added advantage of being able to search across the complete word by word content of every book within eBooks on EBSCOhost - as opposed to just an author, titile, or subject search.

NEW! ebrary - 70,000 titles on on topics. Like the database above, all titles are also included in the Library Catlog. Searching within ebrary though allows you to search across the complete word by word content of every book withing ebrary - as opposed to just an author, titile, or subject search.Copy and paste. NEW! eDuke Books Scholarly Collection- 1,300 titles, including 100 new titles published by Duke University in the humanities and social sciences in 2012.  The collection features multi-user access, perpetual access to purchased content, and personalized bookshelves that save searches, notes, folders, and citations.  The Duke content is hosted on the ebrary© platform.

Gale Virtual Reference Reference Library- Contains 27 encyclopedias and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research.

InfoBase- A collection of publishers (Bloom's, Chelsea House, Facts on File, Ferguson's) that offers scholarly ebooks on a wide variety of topics including literature, criminal justice, science, and history.

M.E. Sharpe- Offering a unique, interdisciplinary approach to U.S. and Global history and culture, Sharpe Online Reference (SOLR) explores the broad range of events, people, movements, and political, social, economic, and cultural issues that have shaped the nation and the world from earliest times to the present day.

Oxford Music Online- The Oxford Music Online gateway provides access to multiple music resources, including Grove Music Online.  Grove Music Online includes the full text of the New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians, second edition; The New Grove Dictionary of Opera; and the New Grove Dictionary of Jazz, second editon.

Salem Health- Salem Press offers access to its award winning reference books including Magill's Medical Guide.  Also includes Salem titles, Cancer and Psychology and Mental Health and Genetics and Inherited Diseases.  The information is evaluated to ensure accuracy and currency.

Salem History- From the Salem Press, online access to Salem reference books that the Thrift Library owns.  Includes Decades in America (80s), Great Events from History (Ancient World, Middle Ages, Renaissance, and 17th Century), and Milestone Documents in American HistoryIncludes primary sources.

Salem Literature- A comprehensive online database that includes the complete online content of printed reference sets.  It offers both classic and curent literary criticism on the world's most studied literature.  The current feature of the literature collection is a volume from the Critical Insights series, Things Fall Apart.

Salem Science- Another database from Salem containing the complete content of printed reference sets.  Currently available through Salem Science are Encyclopedia of Global Resources, Encyclopedia of Global Warming, Forensic Science, and Solar System.

Springer-Verlag Collection- This collection of 20,000 eBooks on all topics is especially strong in Business and Science. These eBooks are accessible both through the Library Catalog and through the publisher's webpage- www.springerlink.com.  (Note: The publishers's site may require a password from on campus. If so, contact the library.) The publisher's web page also contains additional content including articles available for purchase or through Interlibrary Loan.  Available content is indicated by a small green square located in the upper left corner of the citation.
