Anderson University Named to President's Higher Education Community Honor Roll
Anderson University has been named to the President’s Higher Education Community Honor Roll for the second consecutive year. The Honor Roll, now in its second year, recognizes colleges and universities that spend a significant portion of their resources and time to serve their communities or other communities in need.
Anderson, recognized for its efforts in meeting critical community and national needs, was one of 11 South Carolina institutions named to the community service honor roll. The entire list of colleges and universities selected can be viewed at www.nationalservice.gov/honorroll.
Anderson University students perform more than 15,000 hours of community service per year, and freshman students have service to the community as a part of their curriculum.
