Homecoming 2008: the tradition continues...
The date for Homecoming 2008 has been set for Saturday, November 1, 2008. We hope you received your registration brochure and are making plans to join us on campus for the big day. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. If you did not receive your registration materials, please contact the Alumni Office.
Events for the day include registration, welcome session, faculty meet and greet, barbecue on the Front Lawn, the Alumni Board Silent Auction, soccer games, and the Homecoming Court. Special reunions and gatherings are being planned for the Classes of 1958, 1963, 1983, 1993, and 2003 as well as for choir alumni, the Denmark Society, and the ACCEL Alumni Chapter.
Homecoming: an event for the entire family
We would like to extend a special invitation to current members of the Golden Anchor Society to be present at Homecoming to welcome the newest class to be inducted - the Class of 1958. A special ceremony will occur during the morning hours as President Whitaker will "pin" the newest members.
Are you up for the Challenge?
In conjunction with Homecoming 2008 a new tradition will be started: the Trojan Challenge. Alumni and friends are invited to participate in the first annual 5K Run/Walk, which will start at 8:30am on the morning of Homecoming. You can also join in a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk, which will start at 7:45am the same day.
