Anderson University To Host Study Abroad Program in
Sydney, Australia
Program to take place during Fall 2010 semester
Beginning fall semester
2010, Anderson University will offer a new study abroad program in Sydney,
Australia. The program will take place September 16 – December 4 and is
available to any area college student interested in studying in Sydney.
Upon arriving
in Sydney, students will take part in an orientation and a walking tour of the
area. While there, they will share luxury apartment accommodations and they
will have the option of participating in part-time internship programs in any
discipline. Additionally, the academic portion of the program will allow for
each student to select from five exciting contextual course offerings.
Aside from
their studies, students taking part in the program will be given various travel
opportunities, including a full day trip to the Blue Mountains. While in
Sydney, students will receive weekly travel passes for the local busses,
trains, and ferries.
Because the
program takes places between mid September and early December, a Thanksgiving
dinner is included for the students, so that they may celebrate the season
while abroad.
