University Student Ministry Organization Hosts First Annual Ministry Fair
Anderson
University’s College of Christian Studies will host its first annual Spring
Ministry Fair on March 26th from 1-3:00pm in the Vandiver Art
Gallery on Anderson’s campus. The event, co-sponsored by the A-TEAM student
ministry organization, will bring churches and ministries together with AU’s
ministry-minded students to explore service options in a wide variety of
settings.
"This event is an opportunity for churches and
ministries to make contact with the outstanding ministry students at Anderson
University, both graduate and undergraduate students,” explains Dr. Michael
Duduit, dean of the College of Christian Studies. “Some of them are graduating
from AU and will be looking for places to serve on a full-time basis, while
many others are still students and would love to find part-time ministry
positions or summer jobs."
A-TEAM president Adam Wright comments, “The
ministry fair is a huge opportunity for students because it provides a
chance to plug in and network with ministries in the area. This is a
chance for God to allow us to build relationships and lay a foundation for our
future ministries.”
Churches and ministries are invited to come and
share about their work and any
current or future staffing needs. Full or part-time work and paid or volunteer
opportunities are all of interest, since AU students are eager to do Kingdom
work now, this summer, and post-graduation.
The event is free to exhibitors and students alike.
