Anderson University Announces $3 Million Expansion
On the heels of its
largest enrollment, 99-year old Anderson University announced plans today to
invest approximately $3 million to construct two new residence halls, expand an
existing residence hall, and add a restaurant within its library for student
dining – all in time for the institution’s centennial celebration which kicks
off in August. Enrollment this fall is expected to exceed 2,400, up from
1700 only five years ago. The school also expanded its campus from 68
acres to 270 acres last year. US News & World Report
recognizes Anderson among the top 25 institutions of its type in the South and
among the 77 “Up & Coming” universities in America for 2010.
