Anderson University Prepares for
Record Enrollment in its Centennial Year
Anderson
University students will begin moving into their residence halls this weekend,
August 14-15, as the university begins another record-setting year, and its
centennial celebration.
With enrollment
expected to exceed 2,400, up from 1,700 only five years ago, AU made plans last
spring to complete a $3 million construction project. The expansion, including
two new residence halls, the renovation of an existing residence hall to
include more living space, and the construction of “Food for Thought” a new
university café, was completed this week, in time for this weekend’s kick-off
of the fall semester.
Anderson University is a comprehensive university affiliated
with the South Carolina Baptist Convention offering bachelors and masters
degrees. Anderson is ranked in the Top Tier (top 25) of colleges and
universities in the South,

America,” by U. S. News & World
