Presents Festival of KeysThe College of Visual and Performing Arts at
Anderson University presents its popular annual Festival of Keys on Friday, February 11 at 7:30 pm and Saturday,
February 12 at 3:30 pm in the Henderson Auditorium of AU’s Rainey Fine Arts
Center. The title of this year’s program is “Reunion of Hearts.”
The
Festival of Keys is a highly
successful pops concert featuring premiere Anderson-area pianists, including Annette Martin, Jamie Hawkins, Noel Lance, Chris Cole, Anda Mobley, Susan Cumbie, Margaret Mackay, and Fran Pinson. Proceeds
from the concert will go toward a keyboard scholarship with the Music
Department at Anderson University.
This
year’s event will feature Dr. James
Clark, Piano Professor at AU, and several talented AU piano students. Dr.
Clark, who is retiring from Anderson in May, will be honored during the
performance.
The program will also feature guest performer David Brickle. Additionally the event will feature the University’s premiere
Bosendorfer piano.
The
community is invited to attend this fun, romantic, and entertaining event- a
perfect date for Valentine’s Day. The cost of general admission is $12. For
