This year’s Relay for Life event at Anderson University will take place on Friday, April 8 from 7:00 pm-12:00 am at the intramural soccer field on campus. The theme of this year’s event is “Fighting Through the Decades.”

Relay for Life is the signature fundraising event for the American Cancer Society. Each year Relay for Life is a life-changing fundraiser that gives communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease.

There are several fundraising opportunities for those wishing to participate; all proceeds will go toward the American Cancer Society. Those interested in taking part can form a team or join an existing Relay for Life fundraising team. By forming fundraising teams, participants can receive donations from businesses, sell luminaries and t-shirts, or donate as an individual.

AU’s event will feature live entertainment, food, games, and merchandise for sale, with all proceeds going toward the American Cancer Society.
