Public invited to register for Sept. 13 Beth Moore simulcast
Anderson University will host a simulcast of the popular Beth Moore Living Proof Women’s conference in the Henderson Auditorium of the Rainey Fine Arts Center on Sept. 13. The event, which draws thousands of attendees across the country, will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude at 4:15 p.m. Onsite registration at AU will begin at 8 a.m. with the doors to the auditorium opening at 9:15 a.m. Attendees also can register online.
Anderson University, the Saluda Baptist Association Woman’s Missionary Union and the Women’s Life Fellowship have joined together to sponsor a day with Beth Moore through a live simulcast. Popular contemporary Christian artist Travis Cottrell will lead worship through music at the Living Proof Conference. Tickets for the event are $20 per person and include breakfast and lunch, provided registrants have signed up by Tuesday, Sept. 2. Admission is free to Anderson University students, faculty and staff, as well as girls in grades 11 and 12. Church groups are encouraged to make plans to attend and register early to take advantage of the meals offered on campus.
The event offers powerful messages that will challenge and encourage both veteran and first-time participants to dig deeper into a more intimate relationship with God. Moore, whose books and studies, include David: Seeking A Heart Like His, Breaking Free, and Esther: It’s Tough Being a Woman, have been read by millions around the world, is known for her ability to apply biblical scripture to everyday life.
Beth Moore is a speaker and author of bestselling books and Bible studies that are read by women of all ages, ethnicities, and denominations. Moore is a woman of purpose, preparation, prayer, and passion. She teaches a class at Houston's First Baptist Church and speaks to the thousands of women who attend her Living Proof Live conference each year.
Travis Cottrell is a contemporary Christian singer, arranger, and worship leader. He leads worship for churches, student conferences, and events such as Living Proof Live with Beth Moore. Recent musical projects include Jesus Saves: Live, which recently was nominated for a Dove Award, the 3:16 Worship Musical, The Lamb Has Overcome for Living Proof Live, and the live worship project Alive Forever.
