Due to a forecast of thunderstorms on Saturday morning, Anderson University will move commencement indoors to NewSpring Church at 2940 Concord Road, just off Highway 81 in Anderson. The ceremony will begin at 10am.
Further demonstrating its remarkable growth over the past decade, Anderson University will give diplomas to nearly 500 students on Saturday during commencement exercises, surpassing last year’s record number of 450 graduates by 36.
89 of the participating students at graduation will be receiving graduate degrees, while 44 of the graduates are from the university’s adult studies program.
