Village Basement

 

The Village Basement is one of our newest living areas on campus.  It is located off the back side of the Village residence hall and conveniently located near the Health Center, Counseling and Career Services and Residence Life office. This living area is home to 48 freshmen males living in a smaller, but energetic community setting. The basement offers double occupancy rooms and a large community bathroom with private showers. In addition, residents can enjoy the over-sized lobby with multiple big screen TVs while relaxing on the couches, watching television or playing video games together. Just outside the entrance is a covered patio with tables for outdoor fellowship.

Amenities: Extended cable TV, wireless internet 

Furniture: Lofted bed, extra long twin mattress, wardrobe, dresser, desk, chair

Bathroom: Community style bath with private showers

Lobby: Over-sized common space with three big screen TVs and mulitiple sitting areas. Outdoor covered patio with tables.

Laundry: Coin/Card operated laundry facility located on the 1st floor of the Village

Occupancy: Double occupancy rooms; 48 freshmen males

RSVP Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (7-11PM)

Room Dimensions: Approximately 12' X 16' (room sizes vary)

Staff: 1 live-in professional Resident Director located in apartment on 1st floor lobby

         1 student Resident Advisor

Emergency Locations:

Fire: Upper-level Village parking lot

Tornado: Interior hallway or room
