A Call For Comments

The School of Nursing is seeking comments from the public regarding the BSN academic program. The School of Nursing’s academic program is preparing to undergo an accreditation process by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). As an autonomous accrediting agency, CCNE is recognized to ensure the quality and integrity of baccalaureate, graduate, and residency programs in nursing through its evaluation process.

The School of Nursing will undergo a site visit on September 4-6, 2013 in which CCNE will evaluate the academic program’s ability to meet the CCNE Standards for Accreditation of Baccalaureate and Graduate Degree Nursing Programs.

This notice serves as an open invitation to provide written and signed comments concerning the BSN Program. CCNE will be accepting comments now until August 4, 2013. The evaluation team considers only third-party comments that relate to the program’s compliance with the accreditation standards. Comments will be shared with the CCNE Evaluation team prior to the September site visit. These comments will not be shared with the School of Nursing faculty or staff.

Please direct all comments to:

The School of Nursing thanks you in advance for assistance with the CCNE accreditation process.
