The financial support provided by Friends of Theatre allows students to participate in the following activities:
- attend professional conferences like the Southeastern Theatre Conference and the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival
- attend master classes with professional theatre artists
- host opening night receptions for cast, crew and donors
- compete for the prestigious Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival
- attend a theatre retreat
