About Me:
My name is Jason Rutland, and I am originally from Barnwell, SC. I graduated from Anderson University in 2003 with a B.S. in Physical Education. I graduated with an M.S. in Exercise Science and Health Promotion--Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention from California University of Pennsylvania in 2008. I am a certified personal fitness trainer through the National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association, and I also hold a certification as a Performance enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I also teach a course in the Kinesiology department at Anderson University.

What is a piece of advice that you would give a new student coming to college?
Stay open with your options. Explore as many different avenues as possible. You never know what you may become passionate about.
