The Anderson University Teaching Fellows plan, invite, and implement a Mock Interview day for the 500+ CERRA high school senior candidates who receive notification that they may participant in the CERRA Interviews.
The Mock Interviews begin with an 8:30 am registration, a Continental breakfast, an opportunity for all candidates to interview with a 3-member team of AU senior Teaching Fellows and to write an essay that is reviewed by English instructors. Feedback from both the interview and the essay are provided for each candidate before leaving.
The Anderson University Junior President serves as chair of the Mock Interviews. The interview questions and writing prompts are created by the AU Teaching Fellows. The programs for both the teacher candidates and the parents are developed and scheduled by the Teaching Fellows. Dr. Wooten, Director, and Ms. Hanley, Assistant Director, assist with the plans throughout the process. An AU Admission/Financial Aid representative is available to share information about the Teaching Fellows Award package and to answer questions about financial aid.
