Note: 2019 undergraduate commencement will take place at the rain location of NewSpring Church. The directions below still pertain to graduate commencement. Guests may park in any of the lots around campus. Parking lots are located behind the Boulevard dorms on Boulevard, behind the Thrift Library and the Rainey Fine Arts Center on Kingsley Street, and adjacent to the Abney Athletic Center on Calhoun Street. The lots behind Thrift Library and Rainey are closest to the graduation venue.
How to request golf cart transport
Guests can request golf cart transport in several ways: 1)hail a golf cart after parking; 2) stop by the Campus Safety office before parking; or 3)call the Campus Safety office at (864) 231-2060. AU staff members in golf carts patrol parking lots until shortly before the ceremony starts, ready to transport guests.
