Associate Dean, College of Business

Anderson University of South Carolina invites applications for the position of Associate Dean, College of Business. The University seeks a visionary individual with a strong, Christian value system, lifestyle, and commitment to the integration of faith and learning to take an already excellent Business program to new heights of performance and achievement. This is a full-time, twelve-month position; the start date is June 1, 2019. Anderson University is an innovative, entrepreneurial, premier, comprehensive university affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention.

The new Associate Dean will work with the Dean to lead an accomplished group of highly talented faculty members who are dedicated to providing challenging academic experiences to their students within the context of Christian higher education. The College of Business offers the Bachelor of Science degree in Business with concentrations in Accounting, Computer Information Systems, Financial Economics, Human Resource Management, Management, Marketing and Supply Chain Management; the Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Organizational Leadership in the University’s post-traditional educational program; and the Master of Business Administration in both traditional and online environments. The programs of the College of Business are accredited by ACBSP. Qualified candidates will hold a terminal degree in a field within the discipline of Business. Experience in higher education administration or in a professional setting related to the discipline is preferred. Candidates must have a strong desire to provide a positive impact on traditional and adult student learning, lead in the assessment and continuous improvement of every aspect of the College, work collaboratively with University leadership to achieve strategic plans for the College and the entire University. Salary and rank will be competitive and commensurate with expectations that accompany assumption of the duties of a significant deanship within a top-ranked university.
