Supply Chain Management Full-Time Faculty - College of Business

Anderson University (South Carolina) and the College of Business invite applications for a full-time, nine-month faculty position.  The position start date is negotiable.  Faculty rank and status will be determined at the time of appointment based upon the terminal degree, experience, and record of scholarship. Anderson University is an innovative, entrepreneurial, premier comprehensive, liberal arts institution affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention. This newly created position is the result of the consistent and rapid growth of the College‚Äôs undergraduate programs and the MBA program, especially in the Supply Chain Management concentration. The teaching load is 24 credit hours per academic year, including academic advising.  MBA courses will be taught at the University Center in Greenville, SC and online.  Undergraduate courses will be taught on the Anderson, SC campus and online.  Preferred candidates will hold an earned doctorate in Supply Chain Management, Management Science or a closely related field (or anticipate completing all requirements for the doctorate by August 15, 2019). 

Candidates should be able to interact and work effectively with peers across the department and campus, and teach Supply Chain, Operations and Project Management, Logistics, Business Statistics and other related courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs. The candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to teach at a level consistent with Anderson University's high standards.

This is a tenure-track position.  Faculty on tenure track focus primarily on teaching and learning, but they are evaluated on mission fit, teaching and learning, service, and scholarship.  Tenure-track faculty promote through professorial ranks and are eligible for tenure status in year six.  Salary and benefits are competitive.
