Assistant Coach, Men's Soccer

Anderson University’s Athletic Department invites applications for the full-time position as Assistant Coach for Men’s Soccer.  Anderson University is an innovative, entrepreneurial, premier comprehensive, Liberal Arts University affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention whose 300 athletes and 15 teams compete in the NCAA Division II, within the South Athletic Conference. The Assistant Coach of Men’s Soccer directly reports to the head coach of Men’s Soccer and is responsible for teaching physical health, safety precautions, team concepts and play, and teaching, demonstrating and developing theories, skills, workouts, and practice instructions with student athletes. Attendance at scheduled team practices and home and away games required. 

Candidates should possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University; Master’s degree preferred.   CPR w/AED & First Aid certification required.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work well within a team, and good organizational skills are required. Familiarity with NCAA governing rules preferred.
