Assistant for Facilities - Full-time, Temporary

Anderson University’s Facilities department invites applications for the position of full-time, temporary, Assistant for Facilities.  Anderson University is an innovative, entrepreneurial, premier comprehensive, liberal arts university affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention. The position will assist in a number of auxiliary items, primarily maintenance and procurement-related functions, including moving furniture, event set up and take down, repair or replacement of damaged furniture, and other basic maintenance and repair duties. Additional responsibilities may include performing basic maintenance and cleaning functions for motor pool fleet and assisting the Facilities Coordinator, as needed.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, basic mechanical aptitude and computer skills.
