Why teach at AU?

I enjoy the Christian culture and interaction with the students. I left the bedside as a nurse to pursue my passion in nursing education. I want to make a difference in the lives of our future nurses, not only through education, but also through leadership. I was drawn to the mission and vision of a Christian university. I am a Christian, and I wanted to be a part of a culture that accepted outward praises and who openly spoke of Jesus.

Hobbies

Triathlons, water sports, snow skiing, Clemson football, and vacationing

How would you describe your classes to someone who has never attended one?

I would describe my class as a challenging course that fosters independence and nursing maturity through the development of critical thinking skills.
