What classes do you teach at Anderson

Foundations in Nursing, Simulation

What year did you start teaching at AU

2017

Why teach at AU?

I wanted to teach in a God fearing, loving environment. I feel as though I was seeking for years until God placed me at Anderson University. My very first visit to AU I felt the warmth and love that embodied the campus. It felt like home!

Hobbies

I enjoy going to plays from the children's theater to professional venues. My husband and I love to travel, sometimes it may be just a few hours away from where we live!

Notable achievements outside of discipline

Raising two children, they blessed us with three grandchildren! I was recently chosen as a Jonas Scholar in my third year of the PhD program I am in.

Love Koala bears and it is a dream of mine to hold one! I am shy, but try not to show it! I love gray, rainy days!!

Places you've lived

Grew up in Wisconsin My family moved to Florida when I was 16 and have been there until August 15th, 2017 (that is when I moved to Anderson!).

What do you find most enjoyable about working at Anderson University?

The students and the Faculty.

What I wish prospectives students knew about my discipline or careers in my discipline.

I have loved nursing from my first day of nursing school, and every day after then. We can serve, project love, and truly care for those in need.

How would you describe your classes to someone who has never attended one?

You won's sit still for long, and there will be laughter.
