God has been calling me to teach in higher education since I became a nurse. I believe that he has given me the desire and ability to be successful in this endeavor. I love the faith-based environment at AU. It encourages me to be outspoken about my relationship with Jesus.

What I wish prospectives students knew about my discipline or careers in my discipline.
Nursing is a discipline rooted in service to others. Jesus demonstrated his perfect love for us through servanthood and sacrifice. It is a difficult, yet unimaginably rewarding discipline.
How would you describe your classes to someone who has never attended one?
You will learn about the nursing care of children in interactive and thought-provoking ways.
