Community Health nursing students help package meals for Meals on Wheels clients.
These nursing students were chosen to work as summer externs at Greenville Memorial Hospital. They spent countless amount of hours working in different units at the hospital, from the flying around the country in flight nursing to holding babies in the NICU they did it all.
Students meet with their future professors at Base Camp to ask questions and get tips on how to succeed in their degree programs.
Nursing students along with clinic instructor Cindy Swaney volunteered at AnMeds community Teddy Bear clinic. They had a special helper, Cindy Swaney’s granddaughter, Kenna Laine Caldwell whose mom is a member of the SON faculty.
Samantha LeMonds, an accelerated BSN student, receives the SC Palmetto Gold Scholarship at the Palmetto Gold Gala in Columbia. She is accompanied by Dr. Beth Schultz and Professor Whitney Williams.
