Why teach at AU?

I enjoy the culture and atmosphere at Anderson University. I believe the Command College and its focus on developing leaders in the criminal justice and policing professions is critical. Anderson University is meeting the need for effective leaders who can critically address issues facing police.

Hobbies

Hunting, fishing, sports, reading, traveling with family

Was named to the James B. Dudley High School Sports Hall of Fame in 2009.

Earned the N.C. Sheriffs’ Education and Training Standards Commission Advanced Service Award in 2011.

How would you describe your classes to someone who has never attended one?

I would say the classes in the Command College are specifically focused on being relevant to the needs of police and criminal justice leaders of today. Each of the classes is designed to give criminal justice and police leaders the skills they need to lead well.
