What year did you start teaching at AU
Why teach at AU?
After fifteen years working in the graphic design industry, AU had earned my respect for their art & design program because of the high caliber of students that I’d worked with. I think that the faculty and staff here are truly the best at what they do, and I wanted to work with them to help guide the students to be the best at what they do as well.
Travel, architecture, collecting maps and movies - and maintaining my dog's Instagram account.
Notable achievements outside of discipline
Finished my first half marathon in 2017!

What do you find most enjoyable about working at Anderson University?
The people. They are some of the nicest, and most genuine people I’ve worked with. The faculty and staff are totally dedicated to the success of the students, and the students are all very eager to learn. All of those conditions combined makes for a great culture that anyone would want to be a part of.
What I wish prospectives students knew about my discipline or careers in my discipline.
Graphic design is not all about learning Photoshop. That’s just a tool - or a means to an end. First you have to start with an idea, then choose the best way to bring that idea to life.
How would you describe your classes to someone who has never attended one?
Fun, hopefully funny, and informative. I expect a lot out of my students, but the end goal is that they enter the profession prepared.
