What year did you start teaching at AU
Why teach at AU?
The people. From administration to students to colleagues to support staff, everyone at AU is kind, caring, and collegial. As both of my parents spent their entire careers teaching in Christian schools, I learned early on that a meaningful way to live out your Christian faith on a daily basis was to teach in a Christian environment. At AU, this daily devotion is alive in all that we do, whether in the classroom or anywhere else on campus. The opportunity to engage with our shared faith through compassionate understanding and dialogue is a constant blessing.

How would you describe your classes to someone who has never attended one?
Fairly high energy, with a focus on critique and creative discourse.
Tim was born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan, which he describes as a “magnificent, post-industrial city.” He believes there are endless opportunities in the ever-expanding field of graphic arts.
