Center for Global Engagement

The Center for Global Engagement assists new and continuing students with issues ranging from immigration-related concerns to adjustment to American culture and life in the United States.  In addition, the International Programs Office offers numerous support systems for international students ranging from international student mentors, student activities, cultural events and assistance with engaging the student community. We help connect them with local families and the larger Anderson community so they have support to be successful in their academic career in the United States.

We offer a supportive environment where students from more than 35 countries receive counseling and assistance in an understanding and caring environment. We are staffed with experts in immigration and international education, as well as international student ambassadors. These student ambassadors are from a wide variety of countries and assist international students with adjustment to campus life and American culture. Together with our staff, faculty and the student body, we offer a warm and welcoming environment for international students.
